Unique/Creative Menu Item, The Two Bucka Roos, for their entry of Grilled Cheese-Sloppy Joe Sandwich w/Jalapeno Cheese & Pepper Jelly, and Best Tasting Menu Item, Big Belly Barbeque for their entry of Hickory Smoke Brisket Reuben. Along with Van Wagner, judges were Editor Chris Graham of The Sun, Sarah Minkewicz, WIVB-TV journalist, Carl Lam, WGRZ-TV meterologist, Hamburg Village Trustee Paul Gaughan and Hamburg Town Clerk Cathy Rybczynski. Among the motor vehicles on display at the BurgerFest Rotary Club of Hamburg-KeyBank Cruise were beautiful early autos, sporty models, a huge military tank and about five classic hearses, some of which carried ghoulish passengers and bore crytic signs such as "last responde."
