Bob Brunner, owner of JP Fitzgerald’s Restaurant, presented the Rotary Club of Hamburg a check for $2,500 at its Nov. 12 meeting to benefit the Warm the Children Program which is currently providing warm winter clothing for children in need. The funds were raised last week when the restaurant dedicated a percentage of proceeds from lunch and dinner on Nov. 7 to the program. The Hamburg club was founded 77 years ago and coordinates Warm the Children, provides college scholarships to Hamburg and Frontier high school students and is one of the four service organizations that coordinates the BurgerFest each July. The Rotary Club of Hamburg meets Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. at JP Fitzgerald’s Restaurant in the Village of Hamburg.
